Liberty's Vintage Baltimore Abode

I love the shelving unit over the bed as a headboard.
Vertical storage is always a space saver! And what a great
place to keep magazines and books close at hand!

Welcome to Liberty's abode!  Liberty, the blogger behind Liminality, goes to the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore.  She sent over these photos of her new apartment.  And, seeing that she's a girl that takes after my own vintage- and thrifting-loving heart, how could I not feature her cozy space?  Enjoy!
A vintage school desk makes for a darling bedside
table, plus has ample space underneath for
storage boxes to keep clutter at bay.

Ooooh, I want some vintage chandeliers now!

The fireplace mantle is decorated with artsy
postcards, old photos, and vintage soda bottles.

An old tin ceiling tile doubles as a magnet board.

I'm in lust with the color she painted this dresser.

The workspace is comprised of a brightly painted
table, an old school chair, and another chandelier.
Vintage suitcases stacked under the table allow for
additional, easy-to-tuck-away storage.

Another view of the bed and workspace.
Here's some of Liberty's words on her space,
"The only new things in the room were my bed, curtains, and a portable closet thing from Walmart.
Everything else is thrifted including my desk, wardrobe, and headboard/magazine rack (all of which were repainted), and my bench and the old school desk that serves as my nightstand.  I especially love the vintage chandeliers, the old tin ceiling tile doubling as magnet board, the vintage post cards in the 'fireplace', and all the vintage suitcases used for storage. I am so happy to be living here!"

Check out Liberty's blog Liminality for pictures of her kitchen and living room spaces!

Thank you, Liberty!

May I know where you got your gray cabinet? Did you buy it gray or you painted it?
