The winning outfit belongs to Megan (megancstroup.blogspot.com). I chose Megan's outfit because it is classic at its core: a great pair of charcoal trousers, a simple white blouse, a fabulous blazer, and ladylike pumps. The jacket and shoes both add color---the deep raspberry and dark turquoise hues are fun while remaining totally office-appropriate. The light gray bag is perfect for toting all your necessities to and from work. And the best part about this ensemble? By adding and subtracting different accessories, this ensemble can be tailored to almost any professional internship opportunity. By laying off of lots of jewelry, it's an effortlessly chic outfit for the corporate world. By layering on interesting necklaces, rings, or bracelets, you can jazz it up for a more creative workplace environment.
Thank you all for your entries! This was a fun giveaway and I loved seeing what you all came up with! Hopefully we can do something like this again soonly. :)
Congrats, Megan! I'll be in touch about your prize!

I'm looking forward to my fourth season in the retail office at Wrigley Field -- no, it's not an internship, but as a seasonal worker, I'm looking forward to the day when this becomes a full-time year-round career for me (sometimes it kind of feels like an internship, hehe)!

My ideal internship would be working for a non-profit organization in Miami, where I am originally from. Miami is actually quite conservative in the work force, but you still have to look professional and put together. Miami’s idea of winter colors are dark and darker, but its still a fun city so I added color with the blouse so I stand out more. The pencil skirt was highly suggested in the infographic, and I think they were right in the fact that it is very versatile. Although it is usually in the 70’s in the winter in Miami, the A/C is usually cranked up, so I added the jacket in case the office is too cold. The infographic also suggested noise free jewelry, so I went with simple pearl earnings and a ring. I also cannot go without wearing a watch wherever I go. And of course, you cannot walk out the door without sunglasses.

I recently acquired my dream internship working for the March of Dimes. We do various fundraisers throughout the year to benefit children in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. I chose to make my dream internship outfit based on what I would wear to a fundraising event we held in the fall.
The event is called The Chefs Auction, and includes dinner with a silent auction, followed by a live auction with bigger priced items. Its a formal event that is held every year. I chose to put the outfit together with a simple silver dress and a black cardigan for in case it is cold in the ballroom. I paired it with a pair of purple shoes, clutch and ring because purple is the color of the March of Dimes. A black smoky eye is the perfect makeup to pull the look together with a splash of color on the nails.
My outfit isn't for the office, but I chose a more modest dress and cardigan because I am still there representing the company. Also, I chose to use the purple accessories to add some color to the outfit. I chose a closed toe pump as the article said.
