LUCY Film Giveaway | Win swag from Scarlett Johansson's new movie! (Closed)

ScarJo is hitting the screen later this month in what just may be her most bad-ass role yet: LUCY. Scarlett turns up the thrills in this action-packed flick with Morgan Freeman. (Plus, I really love her hair in this.)

By the looks of the intense trailer, this looks like a perfect excuse to grab your guy or girlfriends and escape the summer heat in the theatre.

Watch the Trailer:

About the Film:
From La Femme Nikita and The Professional to The Fifth Element, writer/director Luc Besson has created some of the toughest, most memorable female action heroes in cinematic history. Now, Besson directs Scarlett Johansson in LUCY, an action-thriller that tracks a woman accidentally caught in a dark deal who turns the tables on her captors and transforms into a merciless warrior evolved beyond human logic.

 Win the Prize:
And courtesy of Universal Pictures, two lucky The Lovely Side readers will win a LUCY t-shirt and hat. (Scroll down to enter!)

Lets be honest, Scarlett Johansson is literally great in everything. She is beautiful, intelligent and badass. I think all that came out of her performance in The Prestige. As a manipulative magicians assistant, she weaves even more deceit into the tale in petticoats and a well versed British accent. Highly recommend for everyone/

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I’d be leaving this page without leaving a comment but indeed you make a good job, keep it going and I’ll keep coming back.

I really hope this movie is good. I plan on seeing it either way, but we really need more movies with female action heroes.

My favorite Scarlett Johansson movie is The Avengers because she acted great in the movie and it was filled with action, and I love action. Plus, she fit so well with all the other Marvel characters. And the scene with Loki was so well acted, the scene where she fought her comrade, and the chair scene, were all amazing. Thank you Scarlett for pleasing me in the Marvel movies.

DIY Cat Barrier for Under $100 (See-Through, Climb-Proof, and Too-Tall-To-Jump)

ICYMI: I gave up Cotton after deciding that after trying so many things, my two adopted cats Dahlia and Cotton were just never going to get along. Long story short: I missed her. And Cotton's back. And Dahlia's not going anywhere. My heart is big enough to keep trying. And my apartment is big enough that if I need to keep them separated long term (or permanently), it can be done.
I'm going to write-up a separate post about some of the solutions I've tried, how they worked, who they worked on, and what I'll be trying next. But in this post, I wanted to share the main 'piece de resistance' of having both cats in my apartment: an un-climbable, un-jumpable, see-through barrier to separate Cotton and Dahlia.

Blair's Room | Gossip Girl Decor

Manhattan's debutante Blair Waldorf happens to be my favorite Gossip Girl character.  Her behavior and feelings vary from snobbish to sensitive, but she always (except for a few rare occasions) looks and acts totally pulled together.  Her luxurious bedroom is fit for a queen---and is as pulled together as her preppy fashion ensembles.
