2010: A Year of Turquoise

Have you heard? Pantone declared turquoise as "Color of the Year" for 2010! This is exciting news for me, considering that turquoise is my all-time favorite color. I surround myself with it. My bedroom is painted turquoise. There are turquoise accessories everywhere (radio, vintage suitcase, ottomans, pillows, glassware, picture frames, etc. etc. etc.) And I like to wear it, too.

Nothing makes me happier than to think of seeing turquoise everywhere I look this year. I can get sick of too much of some colors---like hot pink, orange, and red. But I swoon rather than wince when thinking of an abundance of aquamarine.
