An Attic After My Own Heart

This is the first glimpse I caught of this lovely attic bedroom.  It had me at, "Hello."  Or rather, it had me at its antique wooden vanity, gleaming white tulip chair, and sunlight pouring in through windows.

My attic doesn't have such tall windows or lofty ceilings, so I will admit to being a little envious.  I love the little window that the bed is nudged up next to here.  And that distressed turquoise side table is perfect with all the pale pink in the room.

Love the architectural element hung over the dresser.  (Doesn't the metallic finish on the dresser remind you of mercury glass?)

I love seeing what knick-knacks and odd items end upon others' bookshelves.

Colorful fans and fresh brighten up this mirrored dresser top while a country-chic tray collects clutter.

That daybed on the opposite side of the attic is to-die-for.  I love all the little details.  The dark, wrought-iron curtain rods over the white windows.  The antique chandelier over the daybed.  The reflection of an adorable little canine in the lower-left-hand side of the photo!

This attic is part of The Martinez Family's Modern Mountain Turkey Coop tour on Apartment Therapy.  To see the rest of their house, head over now!
