Quiz: Which Mrs. Meyer's holiday scent suits you? (Plus, claim your FREE holiday set from Grove!)

It's officially here, lovelies: The season for eggnog sipping, gift shopping, Christmas tree trimming, and scarf wearing. And along with all the holiday cheer and Christmas songs, Mrs. Meyer's holiday scents are back: Peppermint, Orange Clove, and Iowa Pine.

While my Apple Cider products are going to sit on my sink until Thanksgiving, I've already stocked up and got my holiday scents on standby. Last year, I was all about the Peppermint—for its sweet, minty scent and pretty pink and red label. This year, I'm on a citrus kick. There's just something so warm and vibrant about pairing orange and cloves.

Also, I get to offer a special early Christmas present to you: a free set of Mrs. Meyer's holiday products + seasonal kitchen towel. Hooray! :)

When you place your first order of $20 using my link, you'll get:

  • Free Holiday Mrs. Meyer’s hand soap
  • Free Holiday Mrs. Meyer’s dish soap
  • Free Holiday Mrs. Meyer’s multi-surface spray
  • Free Grove seasonal kitchen towel
  • Free Shipping & 60 Day VIP Trial

Existing customers will get a free set of Grove walnut scrubber sponges. They make tackling holiday pots and pans so much easier! Just use this link

You can go all-in with one scent (Peppermint, Orange Clove, and Iowa Pine) or mix it up if you want to be colorful or spread the products throughout your home.

DIY Cat Barrier for Under $100 (See-Through, Climb-Proof, and Too-Tall-To-Jump)

ICYMI: I gave up Cotton after deciding that after trying so many things, my two adopted cats Dahlia and Cotton were just never going to get along. Long story short: I missed her. And Cotton's back. And Dahlia's not going anywhere. My heart is big enough to keep trying. And my apartment is big enough that if I need to keep them separated long term (or permanently), it can be done. I'm going to write-up a separate post about some of the solutions I've tried, how they worked, who they worked on, and what I'll be trying next. But in this post, I wanted to share the main 'piece de resistance' of having both cats in my apartment: an un-climbable, un-jumpable, see-through barrier to separate Cotton and Dahlia .

Penny's Apartment | Big Bang Theory

Aniela, a lovely reader from Germany, sent me an email requesting advice on recreating the style of Penny's apartment on Big Bang Theory.

Blair's Room | Gossip Girl Decor

Manhattan's debutante Blair Waldorf happens to be my favorite Gossip Girl character.  Her behavior and feelings vary from snobbish to sensitive, but she always (except for a few rare occasions) looks and acts totally pulled together.  Her luxurious bedroom is fit for a queen---and is as pulled together as her preppy fashion ensembles.
