It's that time of year, undergrads!  The school year is almost over.  Whether you're moving back home for the summer or you're moving into a different apartment... it's time to get organized.  Lovely Undergrad is partnering up with Apartment Guide for the Lost & Found: Do You Know Where Your Things Are? Blogger Program.

Are you looking for more organization tips for your dorm or apartment? Apartment Guide has tips and articles about organizing in any sized space on Moving Today and the Apartment Guide blog.  Whether you're living, looking, or moving, Apartment Guide offers how-tos for organizing, packing, and decorating.  If you're ready for a new apartment or looking to move, Apartment Guide is a go-to source for photos, floor plans, features, and tips to help you in your search for the perfect apartment and community.  "Like" Apartment Guide on Facebook, follow them on Twitter @AptGuide, and "circle" them on Google+ for real-time tips and updates on making the most of your space!

To kick off Lost & Found: Do You Know Where Your Things Are?, Apartment Guide is giving one lucky Lovely Undergrad reader a $50 gift card to The Container Store, the online mecca for smart and chic organization solutions.

So take a minute and think about what area of your dorm or apartment you'd put that $50 toward.  Browse the Apartment Guide blog for inspiration. (I found lots!)

Perhaps you need help in Solving Your Small Closet Woes.  Maybe you need advice on How to Organize Your Bathroom.  Or you might be looking for some suggestions of Multipurpose Furniture that Packs a One-Two Punch.  The Apartment Guide blog has you covered.

Now your head is just swimming with all sorts of storage ideas, right?!  So let's move on to entering.  It's oh-so-simple...

How to Enter:

1. Follow @AptGuide on Twitter.
2. Leave a comment on this post with your email address and Twitter handle, plus tell Lovely Undergrad what area of your living place is in dire need of organization.  (FYI: Entries without an email address will not qualify to win! If you're afraid of spam-bots and such, use [at] instead of @ and [dotcom] instead of .com.)
3. For a bonus entry, Tweet about this contest on Twitter.  Be sure to mention @AptGuide and link back to this post.  (Use this url http://tinyurl.com/6tb7ynd to make things simple.)

I LOVE THE CONTAINER STORE!!! Sorry for the obnoxious use of all caps, but seriously, it's the best. I can spend HOURS in there. For the next year (June — May), my "apartment" is actually going to be my suitcase. I'll be traveling full-time for a consulting job, but I've been looking at the Container Store for travel accessories and there are SO MANY THINGS I want. These include: Eagle Creek packing cubes, electronic cord organizers and a roll-up toiletry bag. The $50 gift card would help so much! :)

DIY Cat Barrier for Under $100 (See-Through, Climb-Proof, and Too-Tall-To-Jump)

ICYMI: I gave up Cotton after deciding that after trying so many things, my two adopted cats Dahlia and Cotton were just never going to get along. Long story short: I missed her. And Cotton's back. And Dahlia's not going anywhere. My heart is big enough to keep trying. And my apartment is big enough that if I need to keep them separated long term (or permanently), it can be done.
I'm going to write-up a separate post about some of the solutions I've tried, how they worked, who they worked on, and what I'll be trying next. But in this post, I wanted to share the main 'piece de resistance' of having both cats in my apartment: an un-climbable, un-jumpable, see-through barrier to separate Cotton and Dahlia.

Blair's Room | Gossip Girl Decor

Manhattan's debutante Blair Waldorf happens to be my favorite Gossip Girl character.  Her behavior and feelings vary from snobbish to sensitive, but she always (except for a few rare occasions) looks and acts totally pulled together.  Her luxurious bedroom is fit for a queen---and is as pulled together as her preppy fashion ensembles.
