I recently put some finishing touches on my bedroom and I'm so excited to share the progress! On a random trip to Goodwill, I scored several burlap sacks and a $7 red vintage typewriter. The bargains were just what my bedroom was missing!
I nailed the burlap saps up on the wall. (Don't worry – I did trim those stragglers... just after I took the photo! Haha.) The boyfriend had a brilliant idea for framing the burlap, so maybe we'll get to that as a weekend project.
Here's the other side of the room with my handsome mid-century modern dresser and DIY copper antler wreath... among other things. I love layering a small mirror in front of a larger one. In this case, the large gold mirror was a $20 cheapo from Family Dollar and the green one was a $10 Target clearance find.
Here's the view from the living room looking into the bedroom, though these pocket doors are kept shut lately to separate the cats. Maybe I'll build another DIY cat barrier so that I can see through more often!
So what do you think? My favorite part is how the red, green, and bright florals pop against the gray walls. The walls are painted Antique Silver by PPG.
Note: Please, please forgive the grainy, low quality photos lately. I've misplaced my nice camera and my phone is due for an upgrade. For now, this is what I've got. ;)

It feels very Christmassy in there! I can just imagine how festive your home would look over the holidays when all the tinsel and lights are brought out of storage to decorate the rest of the house!
