Yesterday's post hopefully whetted your appetite for crisp apples, hot cocoa, roasted marshmallows, pumpkin seeds, wine, and maybe even some pumpkin lager. Today I've got six more romantic little autumn escapades to enjoy with your significant other... and how to dress in lovely fall style! (And you'll be craving some sweet corn, comfort food, and pumpkin spice lattes by the time I'm through!)
For a spontaneous, totally free date... get outside and enjoy the fall weather before it's gone! Slide into a pair of comfy blue jeans and a pair of boots that can take you from sidewalk to hillside to hiking path. A purple tee under a soft cardigan and scarf will keep you comfy and cozy. Keep jewelry simple---like a leather cuff of multiple leather strands.
Being the corny Iowa girl that I am, going through a corn maze is one of my all-time favorite fall-time adventures. Dress for the outdoors in worn jeans, a warm sweater, cozy scarf, and shoes you can trust to maneuver you through uneven terrain without tripping. The best time for a corn maze? Sunset! Be sure to bring your flashlight for when the darkness sets in.
You and you guy both lovers of the pigskin? Make a date out of game day. Hit up the stadium for a full day of tailgating and cheering on your team. Hang out at your favorite sports bar. Or host a game day in your own living room with tailgating foods and the game on tv. I had to show my school spirit with this getup featuring gray Toms, a cozy cardigan, flares, and a vintage-inspired ISU tee. Go Cyclones!
FallDate-Picnic by lovelyundergrad featuring a chambray shirt
Ya'll know I'm a sucker for picnics. And before the weather gets too cold, autumn picnics are no exception. Load up your basket with rich, delicious comfort foods and a thermos of hot chocolate. Look adorable in a pair of skinnies, a light chambray blouse, knitted sweater, and cute oxfords. Accessorize with a something a little girly (pearl earrings!) and something a little boyish (masculine watch!), plus a tote that speaks for itself.
With the much-anticipated return of pumpkin spice lattes, 'tis the season to relax and catch up at your favorite coffee shop with your favorite boy. Sad to put summer's hi-low dress to the back of your closet? Give it one last hurrah during fall's warmer days by warming it up with a soft scarf, cozy cardigan, and cowgirl boots. Leaf-inspired jewelry and stacked rings add sparkle.
Last but not least... dare to get a little paranormal on your date with a trip to a haunted house. Dress the part in black skinny jeans, a lace top, gray cardigan, tall riding boots, and studded black clutch. A big black ring will add the final punch of Gothic flair to your spooky apparel.
So spill! Which fall date are you longing to go on?

I AM SO ADDICTED TO THIS BLOG!!! Seriously, it's one of the first 3 things I check in the morning, right after my own blog.
I actually talked about you a bit in my very first blog post, since you've inspired so much! And I included a link to both the homepage and a particular post, as well as recommending you to everyone!
Just thought I'd let you know how fabulous I think this blog is and you are. That'a all! :)

You are seriously great!
It's Spring here in Australia and this makes me long for your American "Fall" so badly!!
Guess I'll have to wait 6 months! :(
Great ideas for dates and outfits! It's still pretty warm where I live down in the south, so it will be a while before I can rock the fall weather boots and scarves. I'm ready though! You didn't mention one of my favorite fall dates. I love going to the fair to eat bad food from a stand and sit with my lovey dove on a ferris wheel. :)
