Nancy Drew DIY Wall Art Makeover (w/ vlog!)

Hello lovelies!  I mustered the gumption to put together my first ever video featuring yours truly!  I'm kinda a dork on camera so don't to be to hard on me!  (Or the fact that I can't help but pronounce ModPodge as ModgePodge. Haha.  And that I do not have mad video editing skills.  *Sigh*.)  Hope you enjoy the project!

Nancy Drew was my childhood hero growing up.
I loved her outfits, adventures, and boyfriend Ned Nickerson.

Supplies:
Wall hanging - 2.99 from Goodwill
Inspiration - Nancy Drew book I already owned
ModPodge or Spray Glue - already on hand
Yellow Spray Paint - 3.50 from Hobby Lobby
8x11 Print-out of Book Cover Art - .85 at copy shop
Clear Spray Paint - already on hand

Finished project!

So cute! :)

Eventually I'm going to write the title down the side/spine, too!

  4. I pronounce it 'Modge Podge' in my head when I read it online, not sure if ModPodge is available in the UK though, so hadn't heard it pronounced before. :)

  6. This is such a great idea! The doorway in my room is like an alcove basically and the walls are naked. I didn't know what to hang there...UNTIL NOW! I'm going to go through my extensive book shelf and look for my favorite classics (I'm already thinking of one, The Great Gatsby). This way I won't have exposed walls in my room. ^_^
