In my next apartment's living, we're absent a sofa. I'm trying to decide between scavenging antique and thrift stores for a super cool retro sofa... or if I'd rather make a DIY pallet one! I'm kinda smitten with the idea of making a pallet sofa. I'd love to paint the pallet itself a bright color and then pile it high with super colorful cushions and pillows---maybe go with a bit of a Moroccan feel? I don't know yet... But these DIY pallet sofas (like the adorable one above!) get my creative juices flowing.
This one is super chic with its mix of neutral cushions and random metallic pillow. I love the magazine storage underneath. So clever.
This one^ shows the process. I like the idea of a corner sofa. It looks super comfy and would allow for a lot of people to sit and chill.
On a smaller scale, this little loveseat is a cutie.

*Gasp!* I love this. The colors! The patterns! The pillows! Very fun.
Oooh, very crisp and white cushions with color added elsewhere. I'm not crazy about white sofas because when people sit on them, it's way too easy to get dirty. But I like the structure of this one.
Another one that perfectly mixes pretty printed pillows. (Like that alliteration? Ha.)
I love how comfy, cozy, and casual this one is. It'd be fun to slide little baskets under the pallet nooks, too. (Perfect storage for remote controls and such!)
