Love on-trend fashion, accessories, and home goods curated and customized to your personal taste? And at a discount?! Me, too.
You might have heard of the the annual "Running of the Brides" event. Or if you live in the Northeast, Chicago, or Mid-Atlantic states, you might have been lucky enough to score fabulous discounts at one the 20+ brick-and-mortar Filene's stores before the company closed in 2011.
Filene's got its start in its father's basement – literally! Edward Filene opened in the basement of his father's store at Downtown Crossing, Boston in 1909. And a fun fact: The Filene's Basement automatic markdown system discounted unsold items by 25% each week. After a month, anything unsold went to charity.

Because I never had the chance to visit one of those brick-and-mortar stores, I'm delighted that I'll be able to shop Filene's Basement from home – especially for discounted home goods!
To stay in the loop about the launch and online store opening, head over to the Filene's Basement website and sign up for the newsletter.
