Without a doubt, autumn is my favorite season to dress for. I live for fall fashion. The boots, jeans, jackets, scarves, sweaters, tights, and layers upon layers! So I've rounded up 7 of my favorite outfits---that I've worn or will be wearing shortly---for autumn days and nights. (The items and brands aren't exact. I basically have lookalikes of all these articles.) Most of these outfits are suitable for everything from campus to coffee shops and study dates to first dates. Enjoy!
Above: No matter the season, Mondays demand clothing comfy and casual enough to ease you back into the swing of things. It's still no excuse to slump into class in a pair of slouchy sweatpants. Comfy, casual, and cute doesn't have to mean getting up super early, picking out an elaborate get up, and trotting off to campus in heels. Reach for your favorite basics: trusty blue jeans, plain white tee, and neutral cardigan. There's your base. Then add on for interest. Low-heeled, western-style boots and a patterned scarf amp up the cute factor. Slip on a pretty ring, layer on a few dainty necklaces, and grab a bold-colored bag on your way out the door. Who knew Mondays could look so effortlessly chic?
On Tuesday you may be feeling back on the right track for school, work, and a social life. For a busy day of classes, meetings, and study dates, slide into a pair of (yes, they're back!) bell-bottoms. A sheer, cream-hued tank layered under a cozy brown cardigan and lightweight scarf are just begging for a pop of color... like a turquoise bag and red cowgirl boots! Balance out the western feel with sparkly, vintage-inspired jewelry like a skeleton key necklace and chandelier earrings.
Get through this day and you'll be over the hump and heading full-speed toward the weekend. This laid-back but preppy ensemble will take you from campus to the coffee shop to your favorite bar for a midweek drink with friends. And it's a pinch to pull together! Just pull on a pair of dark skinny jeans, step into camel-colored flats, and put on a crisp oxford-style shirt. A leather tote, boyfriend watch, and vintage cameo ring pull the look together with a tinge of masculinity and a bit of vintage flair. When you're heading out for the night, apply a lipstick in one of fall's popular berry shades.
With the weekend within sight, you may be wanting to wear something extra cozy to campus. Worn-in, light wash blue jeans with a neutral tank and soft flannel shirt is just the fix. Your feet will stay toasty in a pair of leather mocs, too. Accessorize with a fringed crossbody bag, leather bracelet, and vintage turquoise ring. Bonus points if you can round up friends for some Thursday evening autumn adventures---bonfire, hayride, pumpkin patch, anyone?
Friday
The weekend is finally here and you're fixing to look super adorable! Fish around in your closet for that lovely white lace dress you wore all summer---there's no need for it to hide away this fall! Keep your limbs warm with brown tights, a cozy cardigan, and patterned scarf. Put on your favorite pair of brown riding boots and a mustard-colored crossbody tote. With feathery earrings and a vintage locket necklace, this ensemble will easily take you from class to a first date to a night out with the ladies... looking lovely all the way!
Granted, you may spend most of Saturday lounging around your dorm or apartment in leggings and a big cozy sweatshirt... but come evening it's time to get all dolled up for a night out on the town. Squeeze into your sleekest, slimmest, curve-hugging-est pair of dark skinny jeans. Add some black riding boots to further streamline your lower half. A simple black tee, graphic (I love houndstooth!) scarf, and boyfriend blazer (or leather jacket) will have you looking classy and chic. Add eye-catching, vintage-inspired chandelier earrings, a gray leather clutch, and red lipstick... cheers to a great night!
After you've rolled out of bed and recovered from your Saturday night festivities, make the most of your final day off. Get out of the pjs and into something super feminine. Homework? Ditch the dorm, forget the library. Hit up the coffee shop so you can study in style. Grab a cafe lunch with the girls. Spend the afternoon browsing antique stores and clothing boutiques. Have a Sunday evening date with the boy. Just don't let your Sunday go to waste!

I love your fashion panels! They are a great inspiration :)
I'd wear all of these, every day of the week :)
If I didn't work full-time in an office 5 of 7 days, I would live in these 7 outfits. Wash and repeat.
